Take the A21 as far as Lamberhurst.  Come off at 1st or 2nd roundabout and take B2100 towards Wadhurst 2 miles outside Lamberhurst there is a left turning marked “no vehicle access”, Bewl Bridge Lane, take this turning and come down Lane for ¾ mile then turn right into Hook Hill Lane.  There is a house at the top of the lane called Hook Hill and then halfway down on the left is another house called Hook Farm, please do not enter these houses but come all the way down through wooded area until you reach a white barrier across the lane and Hook Place drive on your left.  The 5 bar wooden gate will open when you stop in front of it (there is also a button on the right post).
